The Devil has been haunting my neighborhood of late and I really am trying to find a way to exorcise him. My faith is strong, but I just don't like seeing what he can do to others. Have a great day, Bill.

Oh, wow, that was precious. You're very talented. That was an amazing read. The ending was surprisingly welcomed. I didn't want him to lose his soul.
I have a phobia of heights; that image of the man on the edge had my stomach fluttering. lol

I too have a phobia of heights...wouldn't catch me standing out on that ledge...parachute or not lol. thanks for the kind review.

You had me in suspense wondering if he was going to jump or not, thinking that he wouldn't. I'm glad to have known that he had a parachute and that the wind helped him as he completely trusted God to save him just like in the story of the Bible of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
I don't know if I would have that kind of faith if I wasn't wearing a parachute.

Startling twist--I don't quite get why he'd have a parachute if he's suicidal--even if he wasn't intending suicide in the jump scene, he'd recently tried to. Gripping dialog with the devil is well rendered.

I like the way you used the voice of the devil to push, taunt, and attack Jason's character and then finally test his faith. It seems Jason has faith and a parachute. Best wishes in the contest!

Never go anywhere without that parachute...LOL It doesn't make a lot of sense but than I had too few words to work with I guess. But fighting against the devil certainly made sense to me. Have a great day!
