Thank you for sharing this information about the Lion's Mane Mushrooms. I had never heard of them before. They are interesting. Congratulations on your second place win.

How is it that you managed to write a serious, yet silly haiku all at the same time? I love the words, then I really looked at the picture and giggled. Love it!

Fantastic 15 syllables poem. The poem expresses very few words but says a lot in its meaning. I liked the image that you chose for your writing. It is quite appropriate. Great job!

This fifteen-syllable poem, Lion's Pride, has the required syllable count and notes a couple of requirements to get a good mushroom going. This one is a hairy one for sure.

Hi Bill.
Thanks for the thoughtful and humorous review. I enjoyed it very much :-)

This 15 syllable poem uses each one well to introduce the reader to the Lion's Mane mushroom.
The descriptive language...prideful fits well with the accompanying image.
Nicely done.

Lion's Mane Mushrooms are treasures
Lion's Pride
Nice entry for the 15 Syllables writing prompt contest. I like the presentation and imagery of the mushroom and the intermittent sun.
I would add a dash.
Intermittent sun --
Rain and Clouds nourish
This prideful mushroom

Hi,
Thanks for your astute review. It is appreciated.

Unusual cloice of theme--stunning pic--intriguing notes enrichen the piece--sugg expanding on this magnificent mushroom in a prose post--a brief poem doesn't do it justice. That said, well done.

I like this very short one because it whets the appetite, by words and image, to know more, which is then explained in the notes. It is fresh and original and informative. Well done. Best wishes for this entry.
