I absolutely love the fact that your story was from the dog's point of view. Poor dog two baths in one day. You wrote it so well. It was very realistic to what a dog would think. I enjoyed the read.

What a beautiful dog, and a hilarious and realistic story he tells. I could easily visualize the trip to the dog park and all the sniffing. It's amazing how we want our dogs to be a tiny bit more like humans. I really enjoyed this story.

You made me smile here as this story is told from to dogs point of view and I wonder what our dogs think of human behaviour and how crazy their owners are, a fun read Brad, love Dolly x x x

He sounds logical to me. If he stays outside why does he need a bath? Honestly, it makes no sense to me. I'm with Mandy. You wrote very well, and I was dug in with his plight. Karen

Thanks, Karen. Yep, when you're a kid on the farm, you're in the same rank as a pooch. :>)

Thanks, Karen. Glad you liked it. Yep, that was my pooch way back. When you're around a dog as a kid, you sort of understand them better. Her name was Mindy. There were many, but she stood out.

I hope the weather is good where you are . We have 84% and partly cloudy. We are a hot state. Karen

It's beautiful here in BC, Karen. It's a bright, sunny, warm day. The rest of Canada is not so good.

We've owned five dogs over the years but none of them liked a bath, and braved like we were going to execute them. They always were smelly, one of our dogs loved to roll in dead, smelly things. Oh yes, I think they thought baths were punishment, but it was for our nostrils sake. Beautifully Written, an excellent post, good luck, blessings Roy

Thanks royowen. When I was a kid on the farm, I hated baths. I mean what the hell, you're going right back out to get dirty again :>)

Sooooooo adorable! You wrote this like you were in the dog's head. So well done! I was engaged from the beginning to the end. Love it all so can't point out a favorite, sorry!

Hello, fellow writer, and thank you very much for the Stars!
I had a pooch, Mindy, when I grew up on the farm. When we were kids around a pet, I think we could understand them better because, in a way, we were in the same situation in life: doing what we were told and accepting it. I had many dogs, but I will never forget Mindy. The pic shown is exactly like her.

You wrote from her perspective very well. You are just so talented!

Thanks, Anna, the pooch did all the work, I just followed him. :>)

Very clever. And I thought my talking golf ball made a point, but yes, I agree with the pooch in your story. Is the picture the dog in question? Sure is a handsome cuss. Still, I don't get what canines find attractive rolling in a pile of doo.

It's heaven for them, it seems. I found the pooch online, but he sure looks like the dog I had as a kid.

I absolutely loved the way you brought your dog's personality to life in your story! The mix of humor and frustration made me smile! Your ability to make a dog's perspective so funny is amazing - I could really feel the dog's confusion! The playful tone really shines through, and it kept me entertained from start to finish. Keep up the great work!

Wow, thank you, Michael. So glad you liked it. Yes. I grew up with a Setter as a pet on the farm. I will never forget that dog. Thanks again. Brad

This is a very nicely told story. It's always good to get another perspective. Just because 'you' think a certain thing is good...
My toy fox terrier would hide every Saturday. He knew that the day I didn't go to school he would get a bath.
Best wishes.

Thank you for reposting this story for those of us who missed it the first time around. I am a huge dog lover, and I couldn't help but smile as I read this poor dog's thoughts. This was fun to read.
