Thank you for the review and the comments. I just reposted an oldie that goes along with my story. It will make you laugh. It's called Help for the Brokenhearted.

To say your life was active would be underestimating the continuous events that never stopped happening, no matter what. You seem to be able to juggle a lot and come out on top. Beth, you were the stem and stern for quite a while. Your life is very interesting.

Thank you Ralf, I find your life, or at least Anna's,which I have tied to your life, interesting as well. I've never been bored so that is a good think. Kids can certainly keep you busy and sometimes husbands can as well.

Yeah! To all of the above. We are sometimes shoved into the pilot's seat.

Wow, having to manage that wedding and a surgery at the same time put some pressure on you, girlfriend. Lucky, they say God only gives us as much as we can handle.... though at times I must admit I have doubts about his idea of what I can handle and my own. Another well written and interesting chapter... so much for the mother-in-law. Smiles, Carol

You deserve six stars for your detailed memories. You always have a good story, but I was particularly impressed with all the details you included in this chapter. I'm glad your husband was able to get plenty of cake. That's one of the best parts anyway, right?
But i am sorry he had broken his hip, and in such an inopportune time.
Take care,
Rhonda

It looks as though the wedding had its share of drama, especially with Evan's surgery taking place, at almost the same time! And I remember those times as well, so much drama on international scene.
I hope everything worked out well for Don and Kimberly.

I love the family wedding picture. Don and Kimberly made a beautiful couple, and the rest of the family looks well. You look wonderful! I really enjoyed seeing more of the people I'm reading about.

Hi Beth, you never had a dull moment in your family, did you? I love it. If there is not one thing then another thing creeps up. I always look forward to a new installment. I'm delighted and so thoroughly enjoy it. Lots of regards. Ulla:)))

I don't know how you managed to keep up with all that was happening during this time. You are certainly a strong woman to be able to get through it all unscathed, LOL Evan was lucky to be left out of it. I think big weddings are overrated myself. Jim and I went to my favorite Preachers home one Saturday afternoon. The preacher was the one who taught me to say my first words, besides dada and mama. Those words? Hot Dog! LOL Good job, Beth. Dear Beth, I am so glad that the wedding went well and that's so many people went to the hospital to see Evan.
Thank you too for remembering to add world events into this chapter, because it puts everything in perspective.

I'm happy to hear that the wedding went without anymore hitches, and that Evan got through his surgery, despite his heart complications. An interesting chapter, Beth.
One note: " by one of the groomsman." - should be groomsmen

Thank you so much for the review and the nice comments. That word was something I thought I'd corrected but for some reason my correction didn't take. Thanks for seeing that.
