The author's words are interesting, descriptive and creative. Thank you
for the author's notes. I will read "Nothing Gold can Stay". This poem
flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments
these words.

This is a lovely sonnet and tribute to Robert Frost. There's something wonderful in capturing those memories with sights ( flowers dip their golden heads to watch) and taste (butterscotch) and how endearing to remember that faithful dog awaiting his friend on the school bus. You make me nostalgic for memories I never had! Hope you do well in the contest!

Certainly a beautiful sonnet! The image is a stunning one, well chosen, and I enjoyed the vivid imagery throughout. I also love he thought of the dog sitting waiting for the boy from the school bus. Well conceived and well written.

-Lovely image and
nice presentation.
-Frost is one of my
favorite poets.
-You wrote a very good
tribute in sonnet form.
-Effective rhyme, meter,
and imagery.
-You creative a vivid word
picture in the first two verses
of all the things you observe.
-A very good turn when you
talk about the world weighing you down,
and an excellent closing couplet.
-A very good entry; good luck.

thank you, Leann! I appreciate the thought of a six star almost as much as an actual six star!

I would say this is a nice tip of the hat to Robert Frost. I haven't read him for a long time, but always enjoyed his, slow, easy, contemplative style and how he made ordinary things much less ordinary.
