I certainly agree with your supposition that love is an enigma. You provide excellent examples to back up this viewpoint - poetic, personal, and spiritual. It is a most rewarding read - it got me thinking on the various ways of love's impact in our lives.

A very well-written free verse poem about what love is and we can get to the conclusion that we are usually drawn to the one who we belong to be with, sometimes we realize that other times we are not sure if it is the right connection.

A lovely poem, and I particularly like the ending about going home to the arms of the One Eternal Love, which is to me a beautiful image of death. Best wishes for the contest.

Oh what a wonderful write this is dear Mystery Author. I have read many of the entries that have been posted for this upcoming contest- and I am really touched to the core with yours. For me- it says exactly what love is to anyone that tries to explain it....Love is an Enigma!
