Mr. Frost really is a bad one. Even if he thought those things, he should know that he can't say them aloud without getting into deep trouble. And he hasn't given Katherine a chance, just because she got the job instead of his daughter if I remember correctly. Bad judgment. He is a marvelous villain.

You have moved your story along beautifully with this piece. You keep enticing me with the antagonist, Mr. Frost. I look forward to the next instalment.

The confrontation with Frost boils to a head. You really created a bitter character there. The dialogue is great, very realistic, pointed in the places where it needs to be. Lots of emotions and motivations of the characters comes through there. All the complicated relationships of these people moving through the school seem well orchestrated to set up this romance between coach and teacher and the struggle over status in the school that comes of it. estory

Well good. Frostie finally swallowed his foot. However, I have a feeling he's not gone. Usually, the dislikable character has a purpose in a plot. Great writing and descriptions make the story come alive.

-Every time I look at
the list of postings,
my eye goes to that sandwich!
-Panera Bread makes the
best chicken salad sandwich,
and this always makes me hungry!
-This is a very good chapter,
Barbara, and Mr. Frost has a
very appropriate name; he is
a real head case with a big
chip on his shoulder.
-The opening is very good,
with the camaraderie centering
around Gabriel's parents and
the tradition of the sandwiches.
-I remember some of my
teaching schedules with
classes right up to lunch
and no break or ones with
a 10:30 lunch!
-Well done.

Man, Frost is a pain in the butt! I'm wondering what exactly is fueling this rage and hate toward Katherine. Green better report him to H.R. You're writing this really well because I'm definitely taking Katherine's side, and loving Gabriel's character more and more. I did notice one thing I'd change: Friday's (I would write it: Fridays':) Can't wait to see what Paul and Gabriel stumble upon when going to catch up with Katherine!
(And that chicken sandwich is killing me! I'm vegan, lol!)

Wow! What a mean teacher this Mr. Frost is.....is it because he does not like sports? Is he more for teaching education? I sure hope they soon get this figure out before the newcomer leaves her position.

I thought this was going to be an easy going chapter, meeting parents, having lunch, and sitting in a meeting. But you didn't let me down, ending with your usual draw reader's in cliffhanger of an ending. Thanks for sharing.
