Thank you for your review and six stars. This is very much appreciate
I am sorry for my late reply but I was attending
my brothers funeral this week. My husband and I
needed to travel over 1500kls interstate to attend
under difficult Quarantine requirements.
However with much hassle we arrived the day before
Jim had a beautiful funeral service
and I was privileged to do his eulogy
Then we had to come straight home another 1500kls
I will miss my brother very much

Oh brother, life is not easy for anyone these days. Sorry that losing someone comes with extra burdens, it just isn't fair. I lost my dad in April and we still haven't had a funeral of any kind for him. To live to 92 yrs and not be put to rest by family and friends is so unjust for his life. Really bothers me. My sister did however, sign his name to an honorable plaque along with many other names for the dated butterfly release in their honor. There were hundreds of butterflies released and the people running it made a video that I am still waiting for my copy. It's my mom who is suffering not having her kids and friends beside her in a nursing home/ It kills me not to be able to hug her. Hope this virus gets satisfied with the numbers its destroyed and killed pretty soon. Take care and bless you and family for your loss but fond memories were created.

We made it to Jims funeral which was beautiful and I know he was watching over us
No he wasn?t on FS only me
Although he enjoyed my poetry and I wrote him a great one for his 60 th birthday a memory of growing up together
I miss him terribly.

Dear Chris, I know only too well how you feel. We buried my father and younger brother two weeks apart this past summer. And we just had to put our big Maine Coon cat down last month. These things weigh down on a body.

Share his memory, dear Christine...My brother passed away many years ago, we lost contact during the years...i miss him.

This beautiful poem/letter reminds me of when my sister died. She was the elder of the two of us and she always dominated me. I used to resent her domination although it was not mean spirited. I just hated being dominated. I said some unkind things to her after we became adults and did not communicate with her that often. Later in life she did some things for me and my wife's family that were incredibly loving and refused to accept any kind of payment. I wrote my first book as a gift to her that I was sure she would not refuse to accept. Sadly she passed away about a month before the book was published, so she never got the chance to see it. I so regret the distance that allowed to come between us, but can do nothing to address now. Your poem/letter hit me hard because it reminded me of my own feelings toward my sister.

I grieve with you over your incredible loss. I do not know your religion, but the Bible offers some comfort in the sense that the day is promised for a time in the future where the dead will be resurrected. If you are interested in finding out just let me know and I will provide you with the particular scriptures.
