This is beautiful, Jim. I was so blessed as I was reading it and the testimony of faith in our loving God. He does send angels and bathes our lives in peace. So well done. Wish I had a six for you!!

Yes, there is a burgeoning awareness that grows with the passage of time, and an ever growing place of unfamiliarity taking the form of a person, because God is much larger than a person, He is creation manifest, and yet your insignificance suddenly has significance because He did it all for you! This is on the borders of six stars. A little tidying up...ellipses three dots only...capital after full stop if using etc, but what cannot be denied is the exceptional free verse on offer.
Very well done...well formulated, and if the book is as good as this, I wish you good luck with it.

The teaching in the Bible is quite clear. Each of us has an angel - at least one and maybe more - anxious to care for us and keep us from harm. That has to be why humans can live so long. *smile* Thanks!

The words and artwork match well. The dove shows the arms open wide of angels and God and the Holy Spirit. This poem asks the question we all ask. Why are we here. I like how the last stanza sums up the poem by rephrasing parts. It also shows the true spring of inspriration.
