This fits the topic well. It uses strong imagery to paint a picture of dawn breaking. Great choice of artwrok
It think line seven needs to be modified. Maybe change the second use of 'day' in daylight to sun

Perhaps it's true, nothing lasts forever. But maybe, we're just lucky to have those special moments such as your sunrise about above the city. Somethings that we have for a long time, we forget to appreciate them after a while. This was a very nice poem. Best wishes.
