what a fine tribute to those who
work so hard to protect us and yet
are so often unjustly accused and
taken for granted
we've had the misfortune of having
a state trooper inform us of loss
so I truly understand this piece

It seems like we always look to these strong men and women to be barriers for us against the wildness within society---but who looks out for them?
