I didn't have twins but I can understand your trials because I had four in eight years; after a long period of barrenness. I wanted them but there were days when i wanted to run away. No one is perfect, my friend.

Sounds like you had your hands full. I had enough time keeping up with my two boys and their not twins close enough though. Enjoyed reading your adventrous story.

I enjoy your writing style. This made me remember when my little one was a baby. We could not keep him from putting things in the VCR. This really made me smile, especially the part about your little boy climbing out of the playpen over his sister. Well done- Sam

I only had one child, but my doctor advised me to put her in daycare and go back to work. His theory was that too much togetherness breeds a lack of quality time. He said that mothers who work have a tendency to feel a little guilty for being away from their child all day and actually give them more attention when the time to do it is shorter.
This is a great, humorous look at raising kids. My brother and sister are 16 months apart, but might well have been twins for all the mischief they got into when they were small. Your work brought back many memories and made me smile.
Here's a couple of notes ...
I owned many dozens of these -- consider removing this use of 'many' as you use it again a few words later.

that day arrived all to soon should be too
While I am sure some of these incidents were not all that funny at the time, I was howling with laughter when the twin took hold of the porcelain angels and bashed them together like cymbals - sending wings flying everywhere. :-)
learning how to get a boost by stepping on the face of his sister - that is a good one too! LOL
Molasses on the sofa, jumping fish on the floor, naked bottoms on display - this is hysterically funny stuff! Brooke
