This is a first-rate piece
of verse, with a smooth flow
to the words, and to both
rhythm and rhyme.

Very well penned, my friend.

Margaret.

Very clever poem that teaches
as well as holds ones interest
all through. Great ending, no science,
just fun, and as the beatles sing,
"Here comes the sun." Well done.

Sue - Can you imagine what this world would be like without the 23 1/2 degree tilt? No changing of seasons. The north and south perpetually in cold. The girth being hot. Enjoyed it with its good rhyme and rhythm. Charlie

PS - If you get a chance, read my story "The Machinist". You might get a laugh out of it.

sue, I think I know what this was about, but I won't make a bet on it. I'll just write enough to take your money this time and hope you come to your senses next time. lol

I love this poem. The universe is an ordered and wonderful place. I too am looking forward to spring. I can't wait. Great job.

Thank goodness for that tilt! I am so looking forward to spring as I am now in the middle of a March blizzard. I wonder what it would be like to live near the Equator. Nice poem.

THOUGHTFUL AND WELL SCRIPTED IN IAMBIC RHYTHMS. NICE PRESENTATION WITH ARTWORK AND COLOR CHOICES. OOPS! Did not mean to press capslock...

The closing couplet brings a playful element to otherwise heady verse.

:)

No nits.

Fondly,
rama devi

This is a very clever and insightful write in the marvels of our universe, and the master hand you created it. Reading it I felt grateful and humble.

Ha! I am rejoicing with and for you, though we've begun our steady sunny 80's here in FL. I'm checking photography websites to witness the waking up of the great northwest/BC, Canada, my fave places. Enjoy it!

What a lovely sonnet Sue. You never cease to amaze me with your broad knowledge and the fact you always come up with new ideas for poem. Your rhymes and rhythm are perfect as always. Great job.

Hugs
