I am so sorry for your sister's passing. As I read your beautiful tribute to Diane and her poem, I thought of how strong your bond was with Diane and she will always be with you in your heart.
With sincere thoughts and prayers.

Sibling love is very special I have identical twins and the way they are connected is sometimes a little scary. They have another brother and sister
and although they are all four close, there is a times an errie closeness
with the twins. This is extremely sad and well written.

Hi Willie, twins...after having a single older boy...younger girl...that was challenge enough...LOL...chasing one around was
a job in itself...LOL...
and I can see where twins would have a closer bond than single births...they were conceived together from their first moment of life...they shared a special closeness...
Thank You my sweet friend for a wonderful review...and all your lovely stars...love Linda xxoo

Hello L. Raven,
In the light of Author Note, It's a WONDERFUL piece of poetry reflecting your heart-touching love with your sister, and beautifully depicting that sweet memories like a precious treasure remain in the heart 'as if in the safe' throughout our life.
Rhyming scheme is lovely. These lines are particularly noteworthy:
"memories come easy, they do everyday
it's the pain of losing you, that won't go away"
AND, Of course, Diane's poem described as 'a rough graft' is ACTUALLY a MARVELOUS DRAFT.
Picture enhances depth and beauty of the poem.
Laudable Attempt!

It is tough to write these poems, but sometimes the verse just flows out of you. I hope this poem helped you with the grieving process. I have written many of these.

Hi Pam, I knew when she was about 35 or 40 she had a couple poems published...I think that's when she started writing...but truly
I don't know...she never showed anyone...and when my niece and I were going through some of her things...Tammy (her daughter) handed me a small stack of papers...they were her poems...
I think she loved writing...she would always tell me I was the better writer...but after I read hers poems...I cried...she was so far over me in a writing talent...I wish she would of told someone...Tammy said she let her read a couple...but that was all...I just want people to see what a great writers she was...sigh...
Thank You my sweet friend for an amazing review...
and all your shinning stars...you take care as well...and be safe sweet girl...love you...Linda xxoo

"Sisters Are Forever", is a beautifully written and heart-wrenching piece. This talented poet is truly blessed to have had such a wonderful and special sister. I'd much rather not admit, but I wish I'd had such a sister. Diane Peterson, will be on my prayer list tonight.

Aw Miss Linda, bless your heart.
I love this, and I especially loved your
notes at the end.
I never had a good relationship at all with
my sister that died a few years ago. More than
anything, I miss what might have been.
I'm sure your sister is watching over you,
loving you now, as much as always.
God bless,
Judy

Well done my little chickadee. I am so pleased to see you are bringing these poems to the light of day. Your
relationship with Heather was a close one. One which deserves to be marked in a special way. What you are doing is exactly what I would have hoped you'd do.
Keep it up Dollface, this is a very special opportunity to express your feelings for Heather as well as to show the world what a talented, inspirational poet she was. Heather's poem shows how as she moves with the swing her moods move too. It is a very personal, private piece, worthy of publication. It reminds me of Emily Dickinson's poetry. Well done Linda my love. cheers Cass

It is so sad to have to part with a loved one, and so recently, I can understand your pain. You seemed to have had a very protective attitude towards your sister. The poem she wrote appears to indicate that she was aware of her impending demise, but was still prepared to accept that there was the possibility of a silver lining.
I trust you are finding it cathartic to share how she was as a person and how she will always remain in your heart.
Really, there are no adequate words to be offered but know that your write has touched my heart.
Warmly,
Juliette

Hi Juliette, she had a rough life...and it followed her
everywhere she went...if protecting for just a minute...made her smile...it was worth it...I didn't know what a great poet she was...she did publish a couple poems...but she never showed anyone the others...
Thank you for a wonderful review...and all your kind words...
God Bless...Linda xxoo

I am so sorry for your loss. Words can never reflect the depth of our true feelings. But both you and your sister were able to capture the love and affection you had for one another . You are indeed sisters forever. Thank you for sharing these lovely sentiments.
