This is obviously well reached and it is very well written and well illustrated. This is another great chapter in a great book to come. I cannot wait to be able to buy this for my grandson.

Aw, thank you, Roof. I enjoyed researching this one because some people didn't know they existed. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading about them. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You deserve six stars! Fascinating! I sit with my mouth agape at the interesting detail you put in the story. Yep, I wondered if they speared their food with the tusk. Duh!
Thanks for a great read. Well done! I look forward to "O".

LOL! You weren't the only one to think that. I have spoken about these incredible creatures to some of my friends, and out of 7, only one knew if wasn't possible, so you're not alone. So funny. Thank you so very much for the golden star, my friend, and the giggle with your lovely review. Have a wonderful day. :)) Sandra xx

Another wonderful addition to your grandson's alphabet book. I bet he really likes this one as I do. I like all of these and think it's a fascinating idea as well.

Thank you so much for the six stars, and another wonderful review, Amanda. This book is going to be a surprise Christmas present. Eric just loves animals and learning about them. This one will probably be a favourite, being the unicorn of the sea. I'm so pleased you liked it, too. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra,
What a wonderful idea for a gift for your grandson.
You did a lot of research for your presentation. Before reading your work, I had not heard of this kind of whale. I hope to read more of your animal alphabet book. Have a nice week, good luck with your writing.

Thank you so much for the six shiny stars, Cindy, and your lovely review. Quite a few people didn't know about them, so you're not alone. They're fascinating creatures, aren't they. Thanks again, my friend, and have a wonderful day. :)) Sandra xxx

Funnily enough when I saw this was N I immediately thought, narwhal. This is packed with information so it will be a useful book to keep by him as he grows up. I have often wondered what use that prong was . Now a I know.

Thank you so very much for your lovely review, Jim. I'm sure there is a lot more to learn about those long tusks, I'm glad we don't have them that long, they'd be hell to clean! Sending you a hug for the golden sixth star, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Dear Gert, thank you so much for this lovely review. I'm so pleased you smiled as you read it. God has put some amazing creatures on His world for us to enjoy. I'm not to happy about those who go around killing them for sport, or for their ivory. But times are changing and more are being protected. Thank you again, my friend. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

Isn't it interesting having an overgrown tooth, but it's only the males, I guess it must mean like the African male elephant and the reindeer, I wonder why the males and not the females. Thanks for these wonderful posts, I knew of the Narwhals but they have never really been part of thoughts, I guess they don't migrate like the humpback for Instance. Wha wonderful book, there are so many species, you could another book. Well done, you are a very loving grandma, blessings, Roy

I wonder what the dentist bill would be if you were just going for a clean? Lol. Thank you so much for another of your delightful review, dear Roy. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. There are many unusual creatures on out planet, so maybe later I'll write another. It's the letters, X and Z, I might have a problem with. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Aw, thank you, Barb. I do this for my grandson he has a few problems and goes to a special needs school now. He loves the unusual animals too. I hope your grandson enjoys the narwhal, did you see the film at the bottom? Those long tusks are amazing. Thanks again my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Oh wow, this is one animal I did not know much about, so thank you for the facts! I didn't realise that was a tooth on the end of them. I think the question about how they get it off their tooth and eat is was a good one. It must be difficult.

Getting the food off the end of that tooth, would be totally impossible for them. So, they just open their mouths and scoop up all the fish in front of them. (I know some people like that!) Thank you for another lovely review, my friend. Have a great day! :)) Sandra xx

What a great idea for a children's book. The rhyming text is spot on as to both rhyme and rhythm. And it's written wi th children's vocabulary in mind. The other information is great for a parent or teacher Tom have, but I fear it will overpower the book. Just a thought. Very nicely done.
