Two poems in a row about the lover leaving a flower. This one is much more bitter-sweet than the other!
Nice half rhyme on lingered/longer and a clever way to tell this sad little story.

VITUAL SIX
Oh, this is fantastic, the humor, the irony , the delivery.
This is my idea of a winner.
Nicely presented author, just about deserved of a six, yet we have far to little.
You have done very well here. One of the better ones I have seen, through thought.
Good luck author.
A very well done.

Oh, those fickle daisies! But your poem will linger much longer. Well done. And, I really love the color of the flower that you "picked". Good luck in the contest. I think you have a winner.

We've got some really great haikus here today. I used up my six stars earlier or I would have given this a six. Not much to improve, I loved the traditional balance of the lines, that sense of restlessness, of a fragile love. That image of the restless lover is really good. estory

A fleeting scent from a fading flower. A fleeting romance who's fire fare fades leaving but a few embers left forever in memories senses.
Well written piece saying much with a few words. Well done.

Not what one might call a promising start. The comparison between the logevity of the romance and the given flower is amusing and begs the question as to whether another flower might prolong the relationship or whether it is doomed to be a flash in the pan.

I love 'flower' poems as they can represent so much. Many of my poems started with a flower. This one is full of mystery and promise. A wonderful poem and really succinct and enjoyed.
