I belive what got me with this one, which I've read quite a few of your poems, is the opening of this...you can't expect me to read your mind when am losing mine...very powerful. Provides the reader an excellent introduction for the tone of this dramatic yet sincere poem. loved it.

The yearnings of a wounded heart with memories that linger. This is a excellent free verse poem that expresses the pent up emotions and feelings that are there under the surface. I love the way you sculpted the pace and pause of the verse. It's if forceful, yet loving. It is angry, yet compassionate. I hope the message gets through to where it is meant.

Nice strong start complimented by a stronger ending. Good catchy phrase in read your mind while losing mine. (Clever) Good alliteration in complex, cohesive and concrete...rooted and rage...warning, whispers and long, lovely letters. Good message relayed, good photo, good piece.

This is such a beautifully written poem. I was swept away by the beauty and the sentiment. It is both sad and lovely, as I am now finding life to be. It is a mixture. You penned this in such a way that the reader can follow your direction and come out understanding a little bit of what you are writing about. Thanks

Nice heartfelt poem, my dear. I haven't seen anything from you in a while. Maybe the poem explains why. Good flow, and your emotions are conveyed nicely. I am sorry if you lost someone, I know that can really paint the world blue. Take care.

This one speaks to the reader of longing for the one who has departed, temporary or permanently, I wonder? To be wrapped in a thing as simple as a hug, ahhh, that can feel so wonderful...until then I hope the long lovely letter suffice.
thank you
karen

Like your one word progressions " complex/cohesive/complex/rage". It captures the shaky feelings of the courtesan on her own. " that you still care/ that are thinking about me" - I know that the "you" is implied, but I think it would read better as " that you are..." Good write.

Well, I'm really not a poet and I have learned that poems can mean different things. This appears to be a poem that is of love that has turned out different than was expected. God loves you and I do too.
