Dawn,

Clairvoyance is like that - able to see dimly but not well enough. It was like that with my mother. I appreciated this burst of grief, and I'm glad you chose to start writing. I've got at least one more book in my head and hopefully enough time left to write it.

God bless you for understanding - yes, the story itself may be fiction, but there is truth in it too, (and lately, a lot). Write on, my good friend.

Well I for one don't believe a word of it!! Perhaps all those circumstances are just that ... and you are super sensitive to it. That's it. You want it to be because you need some excitement in your life.

:) Sure, okay, take a deep breath, (we are writing fiction here, mixed with a sprinkling of truth, right?) LOL. (FINALLY! lol) Thanks, my friend - I'm so glad you liked it.

A most intriguing chapter - I felt your grief but hope
(as I think) this is not true to life, although parts
might well be true - hope that makes sense.

Great writing, Dawn.

vise-like - is that right?
vice-like

Wow! How scary - we've had quite a few frights during flights on our travels - one we had to circle the airport 6 times since our flight from Shri Lanka was late and there was not slot for us to land - it was in the newspapers - I kept praying to God that we didn't run out of fuel.

as always, Dawn, your work is so well presented that it's a real pleasure to read.

I couldn't help but smile when you were placed over the wing - I always seem to be seated there and feel I have to watch the wing so it stays with us.

I empty all my heart's secrets into the words I whisper.

What a touching, beautiful scene to end this with.

Margaret

It does, perfectly, and you are right on the money! It's fiction, sprinkled with fact. Thanks, Margaret, for a lovely review. :)

Dawn,

The story leaves me with the feeling I am reading from someone's box of love letters. There is a twinge of guilt for seeing deeply into someone's psyche. I find the story interesting and challenging. It is an area I can offer no useful advice. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I have always been intrigued by coincidences and liked your weaving the idea around the intimacy of "souls touching". I admired your "mirror" analogy and tremble at your palpable grief. -Joan

Time to say it outright - too many sincere people getting caught up - it is fiction, Joan, sprinkled with fact (It hasn't been hard to 'get into character' mind you, because December, personally, has been a rough month. I've lost good friends, among other things.)
reply by Joan E. on 30-Dec-2012
As we've said before, fiction is typically sprinkled with fact and autobiography. I am sorry December has been such a trying month. Here's to a better, healthful and peaceful new year! -Joan

Well penned and yet I felt the grief as well as the sorrow.
So what to do next? Well we all have moments when darkness comes and it teaches us something about ourselves.

The challenge is at times filled with uncertainty, yet if we look to the positive, change our thoughts and see the beauty of that connection, maybe he'll grab onto it.

I always told myself to stay positive, find something to smile at. Even when they told me I was dying, I shocked them with my thank you, now I have so much life to pack into my days. It was a gift to me, truly to be able to say all my I love you, organize and accept. Fate had a different miracle for me. So I say, stay strong and keep positive.
You never know what is around the corner...

Love
Maureen

You are so very right, and that is a truth we all need to grasp and cling to!!! This is fiction, Maureen, sprinkled with more than a little truth. The emotion certainly is, as it's been a difficult month for me personally. Thank you for your always encouraging, always positive advice.

This writing, especially the first paragraph, prompts me to suggest a couple of books to you. The first actually is just a questionnaire (although a book is available). It is based on gifts as spoken of in the Bible. "Finding Your Spiritual Gifts" by C. Peter Wagner. Just by answering simple questions about yourself you find a pattern to talents/gifts that are God given.

The second, an ebook, was just released the week of Christmas. My local friend, Anna Marie Catoir, died at age 32 on Christmas day 2010. She left behind unpublished writings. Her mother had one published "Mrs. Baker's Ghost" that I think you would like.

Both items I have mentioned are available on Amazon (I think) for about $5.00 each. The proceeds from "Mrs. Baker's Ghost" go to cancer research.

How lovely - thank you. Jean, at this point I don't want to mislead folks any further - this is fiction. A lot of truth is sprinkled throughout (and the emotion is certainly - December has been a difficult month for me personally) but it is primarily fiction.
reply by Jean Lutz on 30-Dec-2012
Some of us do have those months. I know for TammyGail October was a bad month, but this October seemed to go better for her. Not sure what my future holds. Those political battles in D.C. make me pretty angry. My retirement income is federal based on 36 years of employment. But my faith is in God not government.

Ah Dawn
Factual Fiction!, now that has a ring to it. The same sort of poetry. Well they do say great minds think alike.
So sad an ending and you torment the reader as to whether this is real. I have my ideas.

Superb piece of writing Dawn.

Here's what I hope for your sake, that it's not real.

Blessings

Happy New Year

Spike
