LOL- I 'think' there's too many 'thinks' here! I like the cute idea, and the great presentation- but 'think' you could have come up with a better description of this dog chasing his tail? "Am I a ship ready to sail?" did not make a lot of sense to me.."This is what we learn in college"?..don't get it. Thanks for sharing. Betty

Nice little poem with a humourous touch. I teach people how to drive and I always want them to think for them selves. I think your experience is a personal one and not indicative of education as a whole. A good first poem, keep it up. Paul

An interesting write.
The purpose of University, should be to teach us how to think ... not what to think.
I think that when school crosses that boundary and starts
pushing content not process ...then it is time for our mind's ship to set sail.

I like the message you send. Yes, while you are being taught, you think as the teacher... for awhile. Hopefully all will have the good sense to think for themselves and not follow, blindly, someone elses thoughts. I like the illustration with the poem too. Great job.

Excellent! The topic, subject and scene setting are all good. Even without the author's note of explaination the poem is connected and understandable. Your word choices paint a great picture of the conundrum.
