Yes Cookie...the truth is stranger than fiction. I can't believe all this stuff is happening and I really only skimmed the surface. Thank you for the kind thoughts and stars...Smiles, Carol

Hello Begin Again,
Maybe this story sheds light on the origin of your username. Why don't you tell us how you really feel! I loved this story, as we have just downsized and have been readying our former home for sale. That too, was a seemingly hurry up and wait project as the local mission insisted on arriving hours late for their scheduled pickup time, and our yard maintenance person seemed to find other more pressing jobs to do than ours. Eventually, it was done, though. Now we just have to wait out the miserably long selling process. I have a lot of empathy for you.

Ray,
Thank you for stopping by and reading how life likes to throw us curves...I'd rather they were on my body though instead of in my head... Yes, Begin Again is what I do over and over, but so far I have survived and maybe learned a thing or two. Wish you luck on selling your home...Smiles, Carol

my brother had a stroke had was taken - and was taken
My money is on you, Carol - I bet you can climb any mountain after all of that - this certainly is a case of where life is stranger than fiction - you couldn't sell this plot to Hollywood because they would tell you it stretched credibility. :-) Life sure does have a way of throwing everything at us at once - just think, after all of this, you have a stretch of boring nothingness due you.
Good luck with finishing the restoration. I'm sorry you have been through the wringer, but it certainly inspires the reader to believe nothing is insurmountable. :-) My thoughts and prayers are with all of your loved ones recuperating from their illnesses. Brooke

Brooke,
As I wrote this I wondered if anyone would believe it... I find it difficult to comprehend how so much goes wrong myself. Thank you for the kind wishes and for always being a great friend..Smiles, Carol

RKagan,
The poison oak freaked me out too...I have no idea how I am going to get rid of all of it. I am still itching from the last remains of round two. Thank you for the kind review..Smiles, Carol

Well done! What a whirlwind journey through the 'Tale of the House'. Nothing like the old Midwestern saying: Could be worse. Glad Dan worked out so well after the trial with his 'girlfriend'. The story is quite entertaining, and certainly fits the bill--couldn't get any worse, could it?
Thanks for a great read!

Good Grief, Carol,
I can't imagine what kind of hell you have been through. Parts of this story would be funny if they weren't so depressing. Maybe someday you will laugh and wonder how you endured it all. I have always said we are a lot stronger than we give ourselves credit for...I think you have proven that! Well done....blessings, chey

Chey, You are right...even now I can laugh at bits of it. I must have been a fright driving that car with the raving lunatic bouncing around...Smiles, Carol
