Hi, Sue
See you'r at the AABB rhyme now.
This is a nice write unrestricted by meter ta get all the info and gags in. It's all 'mumbo-jumbo' ta me - I'm content if the light comes on when I stick me toe in the button. Then click on FS and another day wasted, LMAO!
Very different an amusing write, Ray xx

I do love the internet. In the old days, when I wanted to know something, I lived for the Britannica Encyclopedias. Now, it's Google and I can find the world! Even Britannica has its website! Had to have a bit of fun about the growth spurt of the net. Thanks for your review and comments. :-)) Sue

This is a good tribute to fanstory, and I think that we all feel like we have learned so much from the people here on the site, whether we were just starting or had been writing for years. I am still learning on how to critique another's work, but I do have to say that I didn't notice any SPAG and you kept the pattern well. Keep it up :)

Isn't it so funny that our kids would not know what to do if the net and sat. com. all went down? You'd have a million bleary eyed kids wandering the streets, looking for input!
Fantastic tale, and oh so true! What would we do? How 'bout you?
LOL!
Sincerely,
Curt

Ha! "looking for input" - LOL!!! I love the net, but sure am glad I had hopscotch, pick-up sticks, jacks and hide 'n seek! Lived outdoors! Now? If the internet bombed? Show me exactly where my jugular vein is! LOL!!! Luv ya, Cuz - Suz

What would I do without the internet
I'd be so lost in this big world, and yet
For all those years it wasn't ours to be
And somehow managed life so easily
--a modern day quandary.
good poem. really liked it.

A delightful poem. I do wonder sometimes how long it will be before we find no need to leave our homes. Shop on line, visit online, Pictures online, date online, etc. The list could go on forever. Remember when poeple knew and actually visited their neighbors? Great write and tribute to the site. joan marie

Good one Sue. You've traced the history of your experience, as I'm sure is the same for many of us, in a really fun read. I think in the last line, I'd keep your learning in the present, either: "it's where I'll learn to write" or "it's where I learn to write" OR " within this world wide web, I'm learning how to write" something like that. imho
