Well written and you convey your stated intent. Is this written from satan's perspective? I like your avatar it looks like Raistlan fron Dragonlance... one of my all time favorate literary characters. I'm not into goth but this is a well written poem :)

A uniquely surrealistic voice with a Christian underpinning. It anchors itself in the deep belief of Religious faith. "The color has been washed away / By the greys of my inner soul." Interesting symbolism with enigmatic short phrases. All this works best when you read it slowly. Good work.

A uniquely surrealistic voice with a Christian underpinning. It anchors itself in the deep belief of Religious faith. "The color has been washed away / By the greys of my inner soul." Interesting symbolism with enigmatic short phrases. All this works best when you read it slowly. Good work.

The poem seems to be addressed to those who are about to take a trip to the the dark mystery of the Lord and must pass through the sanctuary of the Dark Lord. It's a scary sanctuary, symbolic of the many penants and soul cleansing processes one must undergo, before one is ready for a visitation to the Lord and Savior. Quite esoteric and contains many possibilities of interpretation. I like it.
