This is a tragic story.
The short sharp lines, at first made it hard to follow but, with a re-read, I grasped the tale in its full horror.
That poor girl.
Thank you for sharing

Lea,

This is a beautiful poem if not sad. It is incredible people can lie about something like that and still live with themselves. Their's a special place in Hell for people like that.

Well done and good luck in the contest

Cecilia

Thank you, Cecilia, for your fine words and for stopping in for a read! I appreciate it very much. Father standing there, crying, lying in my face. I was like wow. The children come last again! I was mad, angry and sad and a whole bunch of things frustrated yesterday. However, I felt she deserved a place and here she is. Thank you again. Thank you for the fine rating two I hope you have an amazing night!

    Lea,

You're welcome. This sounds like it was a personal experience and I am so sorry for your loss. Even after so many years its got to hurt. I can feel the raw emotion in your response.

Thank you yes...you are right. I'll do. It was long ago. The memory remains I choose to remember her pretty face. Thank you again!
