Every time I think of this shockingly sudden call to Heaven for Nomi's beautiful Yvonne, it hurts. I love your poem for them. Thank you for giving the background and what makes it so much harder for our dear Nomi.

It was Nomi who shared the circumstances in a reply/review exchange...
There were two chapter fours somehow, so per Tom, I edited to now be chapter seven...
-
Oh, I don't know how you do that. Debi was asking how to add Pam's poem to the book. Hope it's easy to do. I thought Tom had to do that.
-
Tom told me to just go in and edit chapter four to the next available chapter...
Who knew it'd be that easy?
I don't know about moving Pam's poem...and I didn't ask Tom as I didn't know at the time!
(I bet he can do it!)

I remember about Nomi and he is a very good rhyming poet. His poems usually flows very well. It's sad that his wife left him after 51 years of marriage. He still has friends here.
Well done.

Another beautiful expression of sympathy and support from someone in this community. It's a wonderful thing to see. I am continuing to pray for Nomi. Thanks for writing this for him and keeping us all reminded of his circumstances and his need for prayers.

Your poem brought tears to my eyes. I do not know the person in view here, but you've written such a beautiful tribute, filled with hope yet for the future.
I was really touched.

What a poignant story! To think she died just two days after their wedding anniversary. It is comforting that she died peacefully in her sleep. Excellent rhyme. You described beautifully the circumstances of her death. What a comforting line, "You live in my heart." That is so true. Sounds like a wonderful marriage. judi

This heartfelt poem I hope is a great comfort to Nolan. I'm sure it is. Your poignant words give us all hope of reuniting with our loved ones some day.
I especially loved the last stanza.
Great sentiment, Karenina.

Ciao Karenina!
I am not familiar with Nomi but I read your notes.
You wrote a beautiful , heartfelt poem to describe the passing of Nomi's beloved wife.
She went sweetly in her sleep. (It's how I hope to die.)
For Nomi it will be hard without Her , they spent a life time together.

Karenina, this poem is so soft and heartfelt. I know that it will bring comfort to Nomi during his time of grief. Of special note:
I slept by your side
for fifty-one years.
My beautiful bride
had not disappeared.
(How blessed were they. They shared a lifetime together.)
My deepest sympathy to Nomi and his family. Well done.

I've been married over 50 years and realize that in that amount of time, you become one person. I can't begin to imagine the grief Nomi is experiencing. Your beautiful poem is filled with tenderness and heartfelt emotion and expresses what Nomi must be thinking and feeling. I especially like the calming words, "We will meet again."
