I can feel your pain and anguish from word one till the end.
I have a somewhat similar situation as many years ago I lost touch with my parents.

I also wish I could change the events of one day to make it better. But we can't.

I'm sure Denny is looking down at you from above. He is on Gods ear telling Him to take care of his sister!

John

Oh John, I appreciate your kindness so very much, and so sorry tho that you can relate. That part isn't good.
I thank you so very much for your compassionate review and kind words. This was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be.
So I thank you again, my dear friend.

Goodness. Well that stopped me in my tracks. But you are so right. Never forget to tell your loved ones what you feel and try never to say goodbye without a smile and a kind word; you never know if it will be the last time. Thank you for sharing this simple but thought-provoking rhyme.

Well done. One should never walk away in anger and not forgive. You now judge yourself, too late. Still, from heaven's door, Denny waits for you evermore. Always finish what you have started, otherwise, you will be caught in Karma and left undone. Do not accuse yourself; in the heat of the moment you lost him but he loves you from afar. K xx

Oh my dear K, I am crying while I read your most beautiful words in your review. You are so gracious and caring my friend and I appreciate your wisdom here. Thank you. I have been tearing up each time I reread it and have to edit, and you actually made me feel better. Thank you for that.
You know its what we already know but I am so very touched by your kindness. Thanks Kay, as I do appreciate the bonus of six stars too. I am adding this to my favorite reviews that I have a folder for. Thanks again, my sweet and dear friend.

There is no death, merely transition.
The Lord sees all and loves you both.
