Although we all experience your first stanza, not everyone can claim to have done what you write in your last stanza. And some of us believe those "autumn months" to be the best of our lives.

Needed is writing that creates a thinking cry. I love this line the most. It speaks eloquently about the need for thought-provoking poetry.
This is an excellent tribute to the many years you have offered your students your very best in teaching principles. Thank you for showing the different photos of your past and how they will be offered as a tribute to your passing when it is time for you to go.

What an interesting full life you have lead. I bet you were a very popular teacher that motivated your students to go that extra because you did. I enjoyed your pictures and your descriptions. I am sure you have definitely will be remembered in a very positive way.

Thanks for the review. Seventy-five plus students still have personal contact with me. I get Christmas cards and gifts from them. I showed them love and it has returned to me ten-folds.

Yes I am not surprised. I have a dear friend who is a retired teacher. She lis also much loved because she cared, like yourself. You both are a rare breed.

I have a hard time remembering the good things I've done, bad things come easily to mind. I was a teacher too and I loved it. I helped people as a community social worker for homeless people. I was an advocate of victims of rape...there were other jobs but those are my favorite I hope I touched their lives for the best.

Thank you, Ms. Gypsy. I tend to brood about all my hurtful experiences. My poetry is typically darker. However, when I think of these times I can smile. You have done so many altruistic jobs. You are a giver.

First, you are stunning! Let me say this. I had a rough time in high school, and this teacher rescued me from bullying. You always remember the teacher that devoted their time to their students. You will always be appreciated by the students who you taught, the people who served with you when they are grandmothers or grandfathers. They will be telling their children and grandchildren about this one teacher they had.
