Oh, I do love Walruses. They are quite cute animals, there is something charming about them! I really admire all of the work you put into each and every entry for this alphabet book. Each
animal feels brand new and so much fun!

Thank you so much, Chloe. I think they are incredible animals, and I learnt a lot researching them. I had to smile at your comments that they are cute! Lol. I guess they are in a funny way. Only three left to do! Thank you again, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You definitely did a great job for the letter 'W', Sandra. This was very educational and I have learned so much. For example I was not aware of their feeding habits, so it was your teaching moment for me. I enjoyed hearing the walrus sounds provided in the video. An amazing job. Nice rhyme and very informative notes. Blessings, hugs and smiles. Thank you Graham.

I liked this one, too, Alie, they are so interesting, I didn't know the half of it until I started doing the research. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading about them. Well, I'm down to the last three. It'll be strange when I put the last one on. Then the hard work will begin. Thanks, my friend, for all the lovely reviews you've given me, and Graham says a big thank you, back! :)) Warm hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

Who would have ever thought a walrus was so sensitive, but it makes me wonder just how many animals share some of their sensitivities that we never take into consideration. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

That's a thought. Just because they are animals, mammals ... doesn't mean they have no feelings. Many stay in family groups. Thank you, Ric, for another lovely review. When are you posting another story? Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

-Good artwork, photos, and story, Sandra.
-You did a good job with the Walrus.
-It was interesting and read well.
-They certainly are massive creatures!
-But surprisingly, they can do some amazing things,
like using their tusks to pull themselves over the ice
to get into the sea, and being good fighters, too.
-As big as they are, you point out that they are also sensitive
creatures who almost seem to be reverent toward those of
their species that have died.
-The loss of their habitat and that of other Arctic creatures is
very disturbing, and we can only hope that there is a future for them.
-This was very well done, interesting, and informative.
-I enjoyed it.

They are fascinating creatures, and even though I'd watched them on the television, researching more about them was quite enlightening. I particularly liked their sensitive side, with their sick and dying and their young. I'm so pleased you did. We have a lot to learn from our fellow creatures. Thank you for the golden star, Pam, and the lovely review that went with it. I always appreciate what you have to say. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving, Sandra. I agree with you about the sensitive side. I appreciate your reply, my friend.

I think I'd have to sleep for nineteen hours a day after carrying all that weight around, three thousand pounds! Another engaging chapter in your book Sandra, I enjoyed reading it.

Very fun. Walrus are huge. I love to watch nature shows about the sea and have seen much on Walrus. They are rather ugly, poor things. But the elephant seal wins the ugly prize. I do wonder if they are teased because of their big noses. =] Well done as always.

Yes, huge is what they are. Big cuddly walruses, I think they could be the next teddy-bear! Lol. I've watched those nature shows, they are fascinating, and entertaining. I agree with the you on the elephant seal, they are ugly, but their mums love them!! Lol. Thank you, my friend, for another lovely review. :)) Sandra xxx
