Isn't it sad to read about how this wonderful animal is also affected by climate change to the point where they die from starvation-this is a well researched item and a fun item too - any youngster would enjoy reading about a reindeer with his association with the Christmas season

Yes, to lose so many that way is really sad. Thank you so much, Zanya, for this lovely review. I really appreciate it. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

I like these reindeer! And not only for the one called Rudolf (of course, he has a soft place in my heart, bringing Father Chistmas every year). I like also all those special qualities that you described for me.
Nice piece, Sandra!

Thank you so much, Marjon, for another lovely review. I was so surprised to see how closely scientists are looking at reindeer now. Some reindeer photos I found had really bright noses, but I wasn't allowed to use those ones for commercial use free. I'm glad you liked this one, my friend. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xxx

As I had mentioned in a previous review, I have a daughter who just turned 7 and this is exactly the type of material we're reading together now (7-12). You've definitely nailed your target market. Great read, thanks for sharing, later daze.

Thank you so much, Elchupakabra, for this lovely review. I'm so pleased you think this is right for a 7 year-old, that is really encouraging to know. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra x

Hello Sandra,
Another fine poem with copious notes about the amazing reindeer. It is interesting how all of these creatures learn to adapt to the environment in which they live, no matter how warm or cold.
It would be embarrassing to be driving down the highway and be passed by
a herd of reindeer going fifty mph.
Kids will be thrilled to now have proof that Rudolf actually exists and if he exists, so does Santa Claus.
Great art work to accompany the story/poem!
Well done.

Imagine them taking part in a marathon, it would take them under half an hour! Thank you so much for the six stars, and lovely review, Robert, I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, it was my **** Birthday yesterday, and I had visitors coming all day and friends for a meal for dinner last night. I had a lovely time, but couldn't get to reply to some of my reviews. Sending you a hug for being so kind. :)) Sandra xxx

Another great chapter. You are almost getting to the end. Can't wait to see what you do with the letter X. The only part that gave me pause, and this is entirely up to you, was the ending with Climate Change and the 61, 000 dying of starvation. Not sure about telling that, after getting them excited about them. Sort of ending on a low note or buzz kill.

Yes, I agree with you. I had already decided not to put that, but I will add the part about climate change and how it affects our animal kingdom. They are this planets last hope, I think. Thank you so much for reading this one, and for your thoughts. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the most part of it. The letter X hmm, it's all sorted, just a bit more research to do. :)) S coming up next. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Ho, Ho, Ho, now I'll be getting all those toys ready for all the good little boys and girls. Packing up my sleigh early, starting in November. And this year, I'll know more about reindeer than I every have before. Thanks for sharing!

LOL! I can just see you as a Santa Claus! Thank you so much for this fun, lovely review of my letter R, Ric. I'm glad it's taught you a bit more about your reindeer!! Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Another information-packed post! I didn't know that about their eyes and their toes. Very interesting. They do seem cervine but it's nice to know the differences. I also heard that people who live in that Arctic area get their vitamin C from eating the reindeer which ate the moss. But I guess you don't want to cover that for the kids! ð???

You're right, they do. They eat every part of the reindeer, nothing is wasted. I had to stop somewhere, Helen, there was so much more I could have put, perhaps a book two, one day. :)) Thank you for another lovely review, my friend. Have a great day! :)) Sandra xx

Wow, this is really fascinating. I hadn't know that Santa's little helpers were so well equiped to stand the cold. You know Siberian Huskies have the same double coat, and the outer layer is almost water-proof. Their undercoat is like down. Another really great chapter that was so much fun to read. Really good stuff there, Sandra.

Thank you so much for another lovely review, Steve, I'm really glad you enjoyed reading it. I didn't know about the Siberian Huskies, but it does make sense that they would have a similar double layered coat. I'd want at least ten layers to get me to go there!! LOL. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Well, I have certainly learned a lot about reindeer. I loved the accompanying pictures. The poem at the beginning was very cute, as well as informative. I am working on an alphabet book, also, but mine deals with illnesses and problems that children face and I try to explain them in ways kids can relate to.

Hello Sandra.
It had to be Reindeer. Those big beautiful antlers are so recognizable. It is amazing how fast they are able to run as day old babies. They are born ready to go. I did notice the red nose on one picture. There he is. Good old Rudolph. ð???
