I like keeping Drozig in the each story. It will be interesting to see where the find for Kon and his people to live.

Now, I'm worried about Herbie being recalled and scrapped or changed in some way. Don't let them do it!

This is a fascinating science fiction story, with some engaging characters and lively dialogue. Since I haven't read the previous chapters, my understanding was somewhat limited, but what was written made sense.

I found some minor errors:

I like Eric's protectiveness of Herbie. I don't know what happened before but obviously, a close bond had formed. And I like how Drozig came just in time to offer hope and a solution. I like Eric's referring to what he learned from his mum and your writing makes me feel that this is a children's Sci-Fi. You may consider changing the category from General Fiction.

Thank you, Lynochka, for coming again to read my story. I've changed the category now, but the only one suitable from all the options, was 'family' there isn't a Sci-Fi, and I thought Fantasy sounded wrong on it's own. Apart from putting Children down for it, and even that gives a wrong impression. If there was one with Children's fantasy/sci-fi, that would be better. I'm so pleased you like the story, even though you don't know the in's and out's of the main story and where the characters came from. (apart from Eric) Stay safe, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

What an interesting reaction from Drozig, that he might take Herbie back to the home planet, because he was turning into another Eric, and drones don't normally evolve. Perhaps the self centred human reactions are infectious? Heh heh. Great episode, building some imperfections into other creatures. Thank you so much, Roy. I've made that correction. Drozig is very fond on Eric, so we'll see what happens next. I think Eric would be devastated it Herbie was taken away. Actually, my husband has made him a model Herbie, he's just practising how to make him fly and speak! LOL. The one that is on Eric's bike in the books are the model. I think he did a great job of it!! :)) I want Gizmo, I could have a lot of fun whizzing around the world. Think of all the research I could do! Now I know why there are no aqua-beings on Earth. They must have found a suitable planet. Seems Eric has another problem. How will he save Herbie? '...asking him if the can search for another planet for these aqu-beings can live on.' aqu should be aqua.
