I agree. Writer's block is a bitch. I have found that rum helps, but then Phyllis Stewart, grifmang, djsaxon and damommy have to proofread my work.

Nice to see you posting again. Even if it's to lament your sleeping muse. Now that Spring is in your part of the world, perhaps a walk or drive somewhere out in nature will arouse the creator in you.

Hi Sis just had some good ideas on fixing the title for my Acrostic Competition entry so I changed the title. Yes I am feeling like the writing drive is returning. We had a warm night last night.

A very good way to start finding the muse is usually just to start scribbling anything down. The muse like the sound of the pen on paper. I was there many times.

Been there, my friend. I guess we all have. Sometimes I think she (he) goes off on a vacation just to give us a break. Oh well, never around when we need it, right? Good luck with it, but just on the aside, you created a brilliant poem without it.
Take care,
Rhonda

Sometimes I just go totally blank. I get out my art supplies then. Nothing worse than staring at blank paper. Good luck!!!! Blessings....

Well written! Good use of rhyme. Just think of yourself as being paid for writing. You would come up with something pretty soon, I imagine. The Muse is just something devised by pretentious poets who claim to write with quill pens. Don't sweat it. Just write something--good, bad, indifferent, and you'll have something to work with. Write on! judi

Hope you make it, Bro. We always called it writers block but either way it can be a problem. Sometimes I need to get away from it all for a day or so. Hope you and the wife are well.

Ha, well this seems a good start, at for poetry. You know, one the things that sparks me is looking at pictures and imagining the tale behind them.
