Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

'Yea, celebrate the blessings that abound.
The universe displays a grand array,
inspiring possibilities and dreams,
and my small part in this eternity.'

What a great way to end this superb poem, Debbie. I love the lyrical, majestic feel of it. I was hoping to see it was part of a contest because it surely would have won the prize!

    Hi Bev,

Thank you for the shiny six stars! I appreciate the encouraging comments about the writing. Blank verse hasn't been my favorite type of poetry to read so I thought I'd learn more about it. Nothing like writing something to realize its challenges. I had a hard time not rhyming in several places.

I am pleased you like the way it ended. I wasn't sure where it was going when I started, but I did want it to have a majestic feel to it so I am happy that came across.
