You continue to amaze! You speak about measles, which today would elicit a 'huh.' Did any of your children come down with chicken pox or the mumps? As I've said on numerous occasions, its like unearthing a time capsule.
Take care,
Ray

Thank you Ray for the six star review. You're starting to make me feel like a relic, which I guess I am, only my brain still thinks I'm young. LOL All my children had mumps and chicken pox but only Carol got measles.Carol even had Scarlet Fever and Christi got Hepatitus. Didn't miss much.

This is a good story. The author creates a very readable piece for the reader in this story. It is well laid out and formatted. This reads well and grabs the attention.

Hi there, Beth
Another enjoyable chapter of your early life. I am doing very little reviewing at present, due to time restraints, but am continuing to read you!
A few things to look at:
(He'll) loves to sneak up behind us and pinch our bottoms."
He loves to sneak ....
This was years before ultrasound(. )and often low-exposure x-rays
"We () having twins!"
"We're having twins!"
Evan's sister had given birth, at seven months, to twin preemies weighing only two pounds each earlier in the year.
Suggest re-phrasing this awkward sentence.
Perhaps: Earlier in the year, Evan's sister had given birth to twin preemies. Born at seven months, they weighed only two pounds.
17 December
You're joking, aren't you(?.)
(It was a girl and a boy). Christi weighed 6lbs 9ozs and Donald weighted 6lbs 12ozs.
No need to 'tell' it was a boy and girl.
Suggest: On 17 December, Carol received her wish. Christi weighed 6lbs 9ozs and Donald weighted 6lbs 12ozs.
On December the seventeenth, Carol got her wish. It was a girl and a boy. Christi weighed 6lbs 9ozs and Donald weighted 6lbs 12ozs.
Look forward to your next post.
Marion.

Thank you Marion, I'm really surprised that there was so many spags that no one caught but you. I have corrected them and I do appreciate you pointing them out.

The photo of Carol looks heavenly, she is like a little angel, picking flowers. This chapter presents the stage where you and your husband is building up a family, the new twins Christi and Donald, was a wish that came true for Carol. This piece was pleasant to read, God bless.

Wow! You now had three babies. They would certainly be enough to keep you busy. They were good sized babies, too. Back then my sister had twins. Her twins were both six pounds and some ounces, but not as many ounces as yours. She had a hard time getting up, too. Her twins were two girls. Both of them are married, teachers, and mothers, today.
I imagine you would want to stay home and take care of these babies.
This is well written, Beth.

Thank you April for another great review. I appreciate you hanging in there and reading my story. I took care of all of them until it became too much for me, as you'll see in my next chapter. LOL

If anyone in your presence boasts of long-term employment at the same firm, I expect you gush with praise. You might be right to say the had missed something. I don't necessarily relish my bit jobs, and i disliked being dismissed. But reasoning and attitude was that my heavenly Guide knew a greater position for me.
Having Carol, and then twins exceeds most other roles you could have played. I'm sure you and Evan peaise the Lord for your gifts.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. My husband worked for his company for nearly thirty years, but I had no such luck. I did like my role as Mother however, and I felt very blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Oh my. Twins and measles. Both are problems but it sounds like you handled it well. God continues to have his hand in our lives.

The picture is adorable. Twins, they're a handful in themselves but somehow God makes it all work out. Good chapter. God loves you and so do I.

Excellent. I really enjoy following your story. Reminds me of my Mary and us. We had six in total, 3 B 3 G. We heard it was cheaper by the dozen but someone lied. Good story. well written. I love this photo.

Thank you Ben. I really appreciate the review and comments. It sounds like you had or have a wonderful family. No I don't think cheeper by the dozen works but actually having two at a time does save a bit on the delivery bill and hospital stay. LOL

Wow! It's like your daughter was psychic. Did she show any more signs that she was intuitive? She looks like you. Are red measles the same as German measles? Good build up of suspense with dialogue and the doctor's approach. I love the answer you gave your husband when he asked how the two of you could handle this.

Thank you so much for the review and nice commetns. She made me believe more than once that she might be phychic. German measles are much milder than red measles. There is a vaccine now and red measles are no longer common.
