What a delicious red velvet mixture of ecstacy and terror. You have to be on the spot to experience these contradicting feelings and enjoying every minute of them. Well written and illustrated. Don't wait, baby - just do it! Best wishes for the contest. luv jada

I like this poem. It would probably go very well to music. The rhythm and the rhyme is excellent. Beautiful artwork and exceptionally well presented.

Awsome. I loved the inner dialogue, the anxiety was very well protrayed, and I enjoyed the pace and pillar style. Way to rhyme too!

oh, I forgot to mention, I LOVED...
'takes a breath of red velvet moment' hopefully I got that right. It had visual imagery, made me imagine how it would taste and smell. Very cool

You always have such colorful presentations. Sounds like a night at the club. I liked the internal rhyme of f**k and upchuck.-Gary

Bless you, Fluff! You can sing with me ANY time! Cheer away because I'm cheering for you - and a special thank you, my dear, for your great SIX! (I know they're in short supply at the end of the week, so I'm doubly honored) ... now shhhh! time for the show! :)

Good poem and neat style--I enjoyed it. You seem to have accurately imbued this piece with all the nerves, angst and trepidation that is part of the package of being a performer. Good job and luck with the contest.
