Awwwww....just adorable! Good for you from looking at it his point of view. I've never actually seen anyone do it before. On FS before, that is. It made me think of the movie Look Who's Talking. Very original and great job!
You know what she says next?
"It's probably just gas."

Well it certainly sounds like got inside your son's head just fine! And I KNOW for a fact that they can bung it on just fine - my now 15 1/2 year old told me so! I like the child-reflections and sweet capturing of speech patterns. :)

LOL that little one knew just how to get to you didn't he? LOL this is so funny girl. Especially this:

An amusing little write, and a clever idea, to imagine what your son was thinking. Children have such interesting minds. I loved your use of 'just daisy', this was very effective in making your write childlike. Very well done.
Blessings,

This story is so, so funny. Imagine a child trying to use adult psychology on a grownup who understands psychology in ways no child could. So he plays and colors all day at play school and he thinks that this is an indicator of his not doing well. Too funny. This story is an absolute hoot and funny to boot.

That brings back memories. My oldest daughter did that a lot. I had to tell her if she was too sick for school, she had to stay in bed. She was fine as soon as the bus had gone.

This is a great portrait of a kid trying to get his own way. Doesn't work with a shrewd mother who knows all the tricks. Sounds like he had a good day, maybe too boring for him. Liked the "just daisy" touch. Old Salt
