Great 5-7-5 here - good form including the writing prompt well known phrase "Where there is love there is pain" - great last line for that!

Like this poem it has imagery and how many times do we forgive our partners whether they are 16 to 60. Your poem has true to life characters. Thanks for sharing. Mary

Yep - some people never learn! I like your use of rhyme in your poem which I think emphasises the message you are conveying. Great choice of picture too. Thank you for entering and good luck in the contest.

A Proverb poem that speaks volumes of the way of life that we all fall under in the time we live on this earth. No one is an exception.
Nice flow; good truism.
