dear keimosobie - great description of lessons learned from books in college versus the real learning from the "college of life". A lot of the seemingly useless information never prepares us for the real world. Great job with this funny and clever write.

An interesting little poem. I know that sometimes I feel like a dog chasing its tail and never getting anywhere. I enjoyed this. Great job.

I think you got it right. ost of the college courses you will never use again. Grades in most of them really don't matter, except that society wants to see your GPA.

If school can teach you to think objectively, then it's worth it. Most times, people wind up like the pup. - Thesis

Hello keimosobie,

An interestind and accurate depiction of a game many of us have played. Our heads stuffed full of facts, with no clue as to how to apply any of it. The key is to learn to think for ourselves. You nailed it.

Very nice, keimosobie, and humorous as well! I love the juxtposition between all of the "you think" and "I think" phrases. Then you cap off this wonderfull poem with two fantastic contrasting illustrations which bring the wole thing to a delightful point of conflict.
Thank you for sharing this whimisical piece!

Hi there! Welcome to FanStory! I have a son in school, and he is learning that life can certainly be like this...your poem is original and well done, I would like to see you use think in this a little less often, but it does convey what you say. ") GOOD work!! ") Susan

What an interesting and oh so true poem. Your descriptive words tell a lesson in itself. I love the way you wrote this and the image is perfect.

Love this....
Very thought provoking...
My favorite: Am I a ship ready to sail?
Or just a dog, chasing my tail?
A very creative look at knowledge, where we take it...
what we do with it.... and life... Bryan
