I think the artwork is fabulous for this piece and complements it very well for the message you are conveying. Very clear and concise write - simple but effective.

As usual, you have produced an excellent description of the reqired prompt. You have created a colourful quilt in a very few words.

lovely image of the many-colored fall leaves as autumn's patchwork quilt, and you found the perfect illustration to illustrate it. excellent haiku form and a strong contest entry! Brooke

Beautiful imagery of the colors changing from summer to autumn. Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of year and your poem does a wonderful job of illustrating that.

Hi Sue...this is an excellent haiku. There are so few syllables allowed in this form but you have used yours well and have written a lovely poem. Well done. Good luck in the contest....blessings....chey

I am reading so much about people desperate for the warmth of spring and summer I was surprised to see you writing about autumn. It is my favorite time of the year, well when I lived where the leaves turned it was. joan marie

Although these are few
words they paint a picture
of their own - presented as
a haiku = an ideal entry for
the contest.
Good luck Sue.
Margaret.

Sue - A beautiful Haiku of the Autumn colors. You paint a wonderful descriptive image of that quilt. But shouldn't we be writing about Spring? LOL. Enjoyed it. Charlie
PS - For my story, does Sue stand for Susan?

Hi Charles. Yeah, I don't know why the contest was about autumn! HA!! I'm still waiting for summer. Thanks for your review. (The name is "Sue"). I can't believe you're really going to put me in one of your stories!! :-))
