Thanks for sharing your work with the rest of us.
I enjoyed the read and the imagery that came forth of an artist, of his muse, waiting on the inspiration that would give expression of the thoughts, ideas or concepts stirring in the mind. And then the creation that would turn a blank canvas into a work of art.
This is well worded and well expressed with a good flow and rhythmn from beginning to end. Many blessings to you

This is excellent, Sixteezkid. Superb play on words and placement. Like how you've written it from the canvas's point of view - and could well be a blank page, too. Excellent entry - all the best,
Heather

in some ways poet's are also artists. As they sit and type or write they created on blank paper the masterpiece above
excellent work to share in so few words such a complete thought. Wonderful art choice to accent the topic
Great total creation.

Angel, yes, that blank canvas also represents that blank piece of paper waiting for the "genius stroke" of the pen which we all want and strive for. Okay, so we'll settle for less than genius! HA!! Thanks so much for your very kind review and comments. Most appreciated, Sue

genius is in the eye of the beholder
when the inspiration or words presented help a hurting heart
or sooth a tender tear they become genius. I found yours genius tonight
for they set me to thinking
and as the blank page presented itself to my eye
    the words flowed
and I was no longer wondering what to write thanks for the inspiration.

This is what makes life so beautiful; When one can touch another in a way which seems to be a small bit, yet can be much larger. I am more than touched by your sharing this with me. I have had inspiration from others here and to be an inspiration to another is all the more a blessing.

And to know this only encourages me to write and paint more, as they genuinely reflect the deepest of my emotions. I've become a new person with these two art forms coming into my life so very recently. And it makes me feel whole.

So very nice to meet you,
    Sue

"The feeling's mutual" is a very creative poem about the blank canvas waiting to be brushed by strokes of genius. Who is this painter and when will he arrive?

Being an artist, I could relate to this piece so well because, sometimes, that is exactly the way it is. It makes me believe your dabble also. Well done Naani with a great photo to compliment your words. Joyce

Hello, good poem in a specific genre. I don't write to criteria a lot, I must confess, heeheh :) Poetry is a bit of an outlet for me, so I tend to just let the words fall on the page wherever.

I suppose an empty canvas is a real challenge for an artist. I liked the image of the canvas within the poem, it works well and you are consistent.

I am writing a story that is turning into the most difficult story I have ever writen. I have had the idea for a while, and thought it would be a humour story. I intended to make fun of my husbands dinner time habits. (He's an old buzzard, a fossil from another era, heheheh, not old as in age, but attitude.)

It's called 'Dinner for Two', but it has ended up taking a life form of its own and is now a tragedy and the furtherest thing from a humour story you could imagine. lol ^_^

So, the blank page for a writer can be a challenge also.

Thanks for sharing your poem, and it is one I would recommend to other readers for review, cheers, abby

OH!! Thanks for sharing that great story!! Art, in any form, can change as we go along. The great thing is that you went where you were led. Awesome! I love the title "Dinner for Two". Are you going to post it??? Please let me know. Yes, this piece is also for the writer with that blank piece of paper staring back, waiting for the pen! Thank you so much for your review. I am very glad you "relate"! Much appreciated, Sue (keep me posted on Dinner for Two)
