excellent cadence and rhyme enhance this most nostalgic and warm story of your daddy's guitar playing - I love the specific detail of the songs and musicians he was inspired by and played

The sound of good old country music always takes me back to happy times in the country with my friends. We would drive around in an old truck, the guys with their guitars, smoking unfiltered cigarets and fumbling around trying to make out in the back of a pick up truck in the rain. You've written a great poem about your Daddy's banjo.

What happy memories. A well written Poem. Each line had something to say and it flowed easily off the tongue.
great work. regards Miska

A very nice tribute to your dad. Music played by those who love to make it relieves strife for the player and the listener as well. I love "banjo'd." You and your family were fortunate. XCBLG

Hullo Sixteezkid ....
What a love word-picture you have painted here as a tribute to your dear Father. Music is always such a
great reminder covering all the moods of human life.
There is nothing that I would suggest changing and, as this is a Contest entry, I wish you well.
With love from ....... Nanette Mary.

This is a lovely tribute to your father and his talent. I can just hear him strumming that banjo enjoying the smile on your face as you listened. Rhyme and meter are very good, and the tribute in memory of a loved one is well placed. Much enjoyed. LadyMary

sixteezkid,
You are certainly on a roll. I love this one. Reminds me of my uncles from western Louisiana. There were five brothers who loved to "pick and grin". Easy to reader. Entertaining. elaine

I just love the sound of the guitar. I use to know how to play- just the easy stuffs- but now I am not very confident. I loved this tribute and how you told a wonderful story with it. Well done Brooke.
Much love,
Justmade.
