Edgar Allen Poe was also mesmerized by "The Raven". Your description is fitting for the reputation of this bird - he does draw the worst thoughts from people. I liked your rhyme and the poem was interesting to read.

Thank you very much Nedrajean! I have read some of Poe's work, but I didn't know of his fascination with these birds, so you taught me something new today. As said in my notes, I've always loved them. They are so unusual and striking in their blackness I think. Again, thanks for a wonderful review! xoxoxxoo

I know this piece is supposed to be a tribute, but the imagery is chilling. Of course the raven can be a pretty eerie bird, so that's no surprise. This almost has an element of horror here. Very well done, O' Aussie Alpaca Goddess. :)
