Phew... I almost wasn't able to review your wonderful post. My membership expired over the weekend. I'm good for another year.

If only the little reindeer had a red nose. Haha. Kidding.

Your poem of so few words told a story that lets the readers mind wander in many directions. Well at least it did to my mind.

I loved the poem and the picture. Both very in season.

Great post, sis.
Cheers,
John

Hi Debi, a very nice poem. I like the picture. Nice choice for the poem. I'm curious. What is the book of tenga poems? Can anyone join this? Very good writing.

Yes, Brenda. On the bottom of my poem it will say add chapter and multi author book. You have to look at the last one posted to see if it was 7-7 which mine is. Two lines of seven syllables or if the last poem was 5-7-5, they go every other one. Click on the little arrows at the top of the page to see which was the last structure used and then click on add a chapter on the bottom and do the opposite one. It is really easy. Just remember, 5-7-5, then 7-7, 5-7-5, 7-7. Does that make sense? For instance if I was the last one posted then you would do a 5-7-5. I wanted the 7-7 so I waited till someone else posted. So look up to see the arrows to click on to see what is the last chapter. Click on bottom to see add chapter. Easy as that. Sorry for repeating myself. But I never know if I am explaining it right. Thanks and I will be watching to see if you do it.
Thanks for the awesome comments! Debi

A lovely nature based poem! The author's words are uplifting, descriptive
and creative. I thought about Reindeers, and they are magical especially during the Christmas Season. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments the words and theme of
this poem.

I always see these when I can't post as I am over my tiny post cap.
But maybe thats for the best as my contribution may not fit the mood of the Renga.
What do you think Debi?

Deer or reindeer feast?
Which one will savour the most?
Rudolf or Bambi?

Well, Tim, that depends if you mean that the reindeer are feasting or if someone is feasting on the reindeer? LOL.
I find it kind of comical myself but then I have that sense of humor.
The fact that you wrote savour the most makes me want to steer (do you like what I did there with my spelling?) you away from doing one. You never know when everyone might turn on you. Hahahaha!! Just kidding.
Love your sense of humor, deer friend. (Sorry, I can't help myself with the spelling) you bring out the fun and that is what I love most is fun.
Thanks for the day brightening review and the big smile. You are the best!
    Love, Debi

Your puns are seriously awfoal, now I need to gallop out of here before I get strung up, your witticism truly guts me and I am left haunched in submission.

But of course. I love puns.
    Hey, that's an idea.
How about we create a new puntastic poetry form :)
I need to think on this LOL

-Very nice artwork and presentation, Debi.
-You did a good job with your poem.
-Very good seasonal and nature imagery.
-You create a good word picture of the deer
in "north country" where it is cold.
-A very good second line brings out
the "magic" of the season.
-Very well done.

Debi,
Lovely poem and photo! We have elk and deer who live nearby and they are beautiful too. Deer and wild turkey used to congregate near my former apartment building a few years ago.
I've only seen reindeer on TV.
Have a nice holiday, Debi.
Blessings,
Hugs,
Cindy

While the eleves work and Santa slumbers, the cold winter snow stirs and blows around the reindeer, but come Christmas Eve and the bells of Christmas will ring with happiness and peace for one and all.

I use to own a cabin up in the mountains until a fire wiped it out, in the winter we would see deer like your picture and they looked so majestic. A renga that took me back a few years. Don

Hi Don, that is so sad that yours burned down, as I bet it was so awesome up there. We used to have one in Nisswa, MN in the north woods and it was so beautiful up there.

So, thanks so much for the awesome review and comments for my North Country Magic. I appreciate it so much, my dear friend. Love, Debi
