This one was beautifully written and easy to visualize. I was surprised at the turn it took when he took the dog to his mother's bed and not to Amy. It's always fun when a predictable outcome turns out to be not so predictable after all!

Many said he should have taken the easy way out and brought Max into his sister's room, but what teenage boy would not prefer the chance to scare Mom too? LOl

This is a really a cute story. This kid wasn't about to give up. Putting a harry monster into his mother seem like a long shot but I guess it is working.

What a task Clark is, and a very smart little boy, but I know when a stray puppy had been found we fed and nurtured, my daughters pleading with me, can we keep Him daddy, can we? Maybe, I said reluctantly, after two weeks this cute ball of fur had won me over, he was a family asset, he lived for 16 years, we still miss him, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy,

I would find a home for every stray that came my way when I was a child... dog, cat, hawk or butterfly. Of course, your daughters and the pup would win your loving heart over!

What a cute story! We tried begging for a dog, but Mom just said, "We have six children. Why would I want a dog?" It's interesting that Amy was the one to convince Mom, rather than Clark. (Good name, by the way!) Lol) Have a blessed weekend. Carol

Many said he should have taken the easy way out and brought Mac into his sister's room, but what teenage boy would not prefer the chance to scare Mom too? LOl But then, Mom's usually fall easier for their "babies" wishes.

YES! The plot is taking root!! Another sweet story and this time we have children and a DOG! Can it get any better than that? i am so glad the mother is starting to come to her senses! Thanks for sharing, Carol. Loved it.

I like Clark's idea and am glad it worked. I thought he was going to have Max sleep with is little sister to calm her during the storm. Either would have worked. Thank you for sharing this cute story.
