-Nice artwork and presentation, Melissa.
-You have used your few words well with a good topic.
-Effective use of poetic devices,
imagery, comparison, and alliteration.
-I didn't know this detail about pears.
-Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent one-line poem. Congratulations on your Haiku win. It was great. I'm not a raw pear fan because the texture is a little grainy, but I love canned pears with cottage cheese and cherry on top.

Thank you Beth. I must say that I am a fresh pear girl myself :). They are soooo good! Thanks again.

I have never really understood why, but your eight words are definitely true. You could have used strawberries as well. Once again, I've never really understood why.
Love language is a nice way of saying that pears are an aphrodisiac.
Well done in just eight words.

Hi Debbie. Thanks. I am especially fond of a ripe pear. I usually close my eyes and just savor the moment :). Strawberries are yummy too as you said.
Hugs!

I need to do more savoring. Then my imagery would improve I am sure.
