I enjoyed listening to this very much. It is very well written. It is sad on the one hand, but is very reassuring on the other and as much as you had the memories that go with watching your grandmother die. I am so glad that you shared this with us and I wish you the very best with all of your writing. May you have a wonderful day. Patricia.

It actually was my mom and Wendy's grandmother. (Wendy was my daughter) I went back and added that info because so many were confused. Thank you so much.

Hi, Carol
So, this is a true story. I think it would've been nice to know your relationship with Wendy.
And it sounds like your grandma died a peaceful death, which is something good. It's not good that she died, but it was peaceful.
Is Wendy your sister.?
It is strange that you got a photo of her after she had been there three years. But that other woman in the scrubs didn't look like her or you would've noticed her right away. Sometimes people don't pay attention to the faces behind the scrubs.
The stretches the limits of credulity. I'm not saying it's not possible I'm just saying it's extremely rare for anything like this to happen
The photo you posted is of Wendy?
So that would be a precious gift. Maybe she was your daughter. But we don't know because you didn't say. I think it would be a good upgrade to your notes to say who she is to you
I enjoyed reading your story
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Wendy is my daughter and the woman hpspitalized is my mother and her grandmother. I will try to incorporate that into the story. I didn't write the story looking for justification, only to share the moments and the gift I believe my mother and I were given before she died. Thank you so much for your review, your thoughts, and for enjoying the story.

Wow. What an amazing story to be able to share. I believe 100% that family comes to take loved ones when they pass. I've been present at several deaths and at both the dying person claimed to see their loved one. Thanks for sharing. good luck in the contest.

Thank you so very much, Marilym. I to have been told by hospice when I asked why my husband's lips were moving and he was unconscious. I was told he was talking to the family that had come to take him home. It's a comforting thought.

This essay, I Remember, sends a bit of a chill up my spine as i see that you are saying you either just took a picture of someone who has been deceased for a while, or still had her picture on your phone.

I took the picture as she was standing outside the room. Later, I posted it on facebook and everyone who knew Wendy said it was her and asked when I took the picture. It was a moment of time I will never forget. And a gift from God I am sure.

Thank you for sharing this emotional contest entry with us. I enjoyed reading. Good luck with the contest.
I spent every day with my mother, and now she was going to be gone. (Grandmother or mother, did you switch here??? It's not clear.)
I remember saying. "Oh, I just saw another girl in scrubs, too. (saying,)
