An excellent entry for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest. Oh no! I hate to laugh at this but it is funny! The things those caregivers must see on a daily basis defies description. You did a great job with your 50 words and ended your story with a humorous punch. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you Marilyn. I thought it was funny. My cousin told me some X rated stories from her time working there.

What a funny story! I imagine you see all sorts of crazy things in the Alzheimer's unit. Little, unforgettable moments in life are simple treasures a writer can make live on forever, making impressions on others. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!

I am unsure how a guy on a ladder and a nude senior with Alz goes together but it rings funny, especially with the picture chosen. You can be a hoot now and then.

Yeah, that's probably even a challenge for a VETERAN care worker, let alone a kid there on his first day! Very amusing, um, FLASH fiction (like what I did there, Beth?) and better still because it was based on a true story...which every writer knows is always more hilarious than the made-up stuff!!

Thank you Rachelle. You're quick with the play on words. He got a pretty good flash.

The light bulb and his face were turning red! LOL I can fully understand why he didn't think that was the job for him. Cute and fun to read.

Than you Jessi. I sure it horrified the young guy. No wonder he decided this wasn't where he wanted to work.
