Out of sixes already!
Your offering is priceless!
Step by step you lure the reader into the web that the narrator has woven for his supposed target: the alluring "cougar," only to realize at the narrative's ending that the entire situation was/ is a set-up by the industrious "Professor Stanton:" "AND WE HAVE LIFT-OFF!" shouts Cleopatra as the co-eds on both sides of the cougar's table begin to whoop and high-five her.
"Awesome work, Professor Stanton!" says a sprite with blue-tipped, waist length hair..."
Erotic? Yes!
But even more so, just downright creative writing with a most delicious ending!
I concur: "Best research field trip EVER!"
Played so well!

I enjoyed the story with its surprise ending for the crestfallen (sic) would be Lothario. It's brilliantly written, love the creamy bun analogy and the way he gets carried away with his own fantasies ! LOL
But here's the thing! See, I've always thought of middle aged women as cougars on the hunt for prey, you know. the boy toy situation.
In my big game book, when the man is on the hunt he's usually looking to bag the trophy of wealth etc. Sex is just the necessary means.
So I would see the Professor as dyed hair , plump more than curvaceous, but dressed provocatively and with expensive jewelry. Bit of flab when he imagines undressing her! Maybe that turns him on, the wicked thing!
And hey, thirty nine is way too young nowadays for the jaws of time to start snapping!
Anyway that's my take. Not sure if it will help. And anyway I haven't researched the issue like the Professor's class so it's more than likely I'm plain wrong.

The contest rules stated that we had to list it under Erotica/Adult Content, so I complied.

Another thing about an older woman--she may also have money, something the younger ones may lack. Apparently, he thinks the younger ones are too easy pickings. I love your ending that this has been a set-up, with the prof being the one who's engineered this scenario. It seems the other girls have been taking notes all along, and apparently it's a class experiment. Love the story, and best of luck in the contest. Compared to some of the stuff that will probably be submitted, I'd say this was pretty tasteful. You didn't resort to the vulgar language some will probably use. judi
