This is a well written and enjoyable chapter. The abrupt shift from Alyssa's apprehension to Troy's sudden danger was perfect. Excellent use of dialogue. It seems natural. I look forward to reading more of your work and discovering how the story unfolds.

"He can't see me!" (This is another example of something I am assuming she did not say out loud. So you could just put it in italics with no quotes, as a thought would be displayed.)
