Goodness, my eyes would water at that amount. I don't blame her wanting to sell them all and the money transferred to her own bank. She now knows she has enough money to do what she wants. But she still has Johnno on her trail, how on earth will she deal with him!? Dangerous place to be at the moment. Excellent chapter, Tony, very well written. :)) Sandra xx

Many thanks for your review and the sixth star, Sandra.
Yes, she still has Johnno to worry about, but he may be brought down by the discovery of the arm.
However, I need to rewrite this chapter. There's a much simpler solution for her that the share broker would have told her about.

Your writing is so enjoyable. You have a gift of weaving together suspense, intrigue, and moments of levity. And your dialogue is perfect. Your writing kept me engaged and eager to follow Ayesha's journey forward. This was a terrific read.

Wonderful chapter in terms of heightened emotion and characterization, Tony.
GAWD! Young women going to bars... Of course I did it... a lifetime ago... but now? No way! And thank goodness my daughter is married... The whole bar scene terrifies me these days. In other words, that part of your chapter is written very well and realistically.
I wouldn't have trusted the maid... especially to leave the room and go into the bathroom...
Loved the interactions between Ayeesha and the broker. Ayeesha is pretty darn sharp. And the broker? Devious.
Thank you for sharing!
Much enjoyed!

Thanks for your lovely words and the sixth star, Diane.
I need to rewrite the last part of this chapter, though. There's a much simpler solution for her that the share broker would have told her about.

From my limited knowledge of wholesale stock transaction, there's a threey day settlement period for a start, limitations on large amounts, I wonder what Johnno wants, mmh but I can guess, he's lost his job and income, well done, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. It's certainly not going to be easy for Ayesha to liquidate the assets and reapply them. A steep learning curve for me as well as her!
