This compassionate poetry is sure to warm Sandra's heart after suffering such a tragic loss as losing her brother. It is a tribute to FS that so many of its members care about each other and are there with comfort during difficult times. This is a perfect example, Helen. Hugs, Lily

What a sweet poem this, and how it must bring comfort to Sandra's heart.
It is sad to lose a sibling under any circumstances. I still grieve for my brothers and sister, who have all died within the last six years.

Thank you so much, Verna. I think sometimes losing a sibling is harder than the homegoing of a parent as we are a bit more prepared for that. Hugs!

Thank you so much, Ulla! I think Sandra must have been that caring big sister who was like a second mom to her brother so the pain of loss is so much worse.
    Hugs!

These words you've written for Sandra are thoughtful and bring up imagery of a brother who has been ill and has been loved all of his life. This will surely comfort Sandra, and Pam is definitely good for creating this way of comforting Sandra.

With love,

Alexandra

Thank for reviewing, Carol! I have scene that dynamic. Some beautiful families all rally around the child with more needs and become even more profoundly united. Hugs!

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Sandra's entire family at this painful moment in their lives. So many families, including that of mine and my wife's, have been devastated by the scourge of diabetes. By some undeserved miracle, I have managed to escape this horrible disease. For that, I thank God every day. May the God who gives comfort to those in need, richly bless, comfort, and keep all who mourn and suffer at this time and on into the future.

Thank you so much, Nomi! So glad you have avoided diabetes. I think with all the sugar in our breads and almost everything we buy packaged make us all vulnerable to diabetes. Let's keep thanking the Lord and praying for comfort for those who are grieving around us. Hugs!
