I admit I wonder why anyone would have a contest about autumn in the spring. But that issue aside, you have written a wonderful little poem about one of the best things about autumn. I can smell it in Texas. And the good thing is that it is only available in autumn, kind of like eggnog and December. Well done. Terry.

Tis the season for pumpkins indeed. I love autumn, it's actually my favorite time of year. The temperature is lovely and so are the scents. A very nice contest entry, best of luck. :)

You are so right!. There is nothing like pumpkin spice to make me think of autumn--Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc. Pumpkin pie is one of my very favorites. Lovely poem. Good luck in the contest.

-Very nice artwork and presentation.
-The syllable count is good, along with the topic.
-A well written poem with effective autumn imagery.
-You do a good job describing the scents of autumn
with pumpkin spice, perhaps coming from a pie!
-Good luck in the contest.

I do feel your statement, reminding me of the morning glories in the house back field, thinking of that moment reliving not just the various aromas but the array of colors with this field. I thank you for that memory. I found this a delightful read.

Your ode to autumn works for me, celebrating what scents we all seem to associate with autumn. Even the colors of pumpkin spice mirror the colors to be seen outside our windows.
